Overview
Shopping in the store is not dissimilar to shopping in a normal store. You go to the correct category (department), select your products by browsing through whats on offer, and put them in your shopping basket. When you're ready to leave, you go to the checkout and pay. You hand your credit card details over to the secure server, and leave with your goods. (Well they'll arrive soon after!)
Categories
The store is divided into departments, much in the same way a department store is divided into departments. You select your department and the site will show you what products there are on offer.
Products
The products are displayed with an image and a description. Next to each product is a drop down list. Select the quantity of the product you want to buy. If there are any other options for that product, for example - size or colour, you will see relevent check boxes.
Ordering
When you're ready to put it in your basket, click 'Add To Basket'
Your shopping basket
Once you've added something to your basket, the site will display the basket. You'll see what you've ordered, any other information you may need and a price along with postage and packing. If you want to go to another department, click (you guessed it) 'Another department'
Amending your order
You may however want to amend your order. You can delete (by clicking Delete) or change the quantity (Change Quantity) by clicking the relevant button. When you do this a new page will come up. Type the new figure next to the product whose quantity you want to amend, or if you're deleting click the relevant box.
Checkout
When you're happy with your order you can proceed to the checkout. You will be transported to a Netbanx page. Here you enter your details and credit card information. They open up a direct link with the bank and the transaction is processed.
Security
Netbanx are a UK based company that deal with the process of SECURE transactions over the Internet. You'll know you are on a secure server because the little key or padlock in the bottom left hand corner of your browser will lock. You may also get a blue line across the top of your screen.
Delivery
We will always try and ensure that your order is processed and delivered to you as quickly as possible. If your order is required for a particular date, please let us know and we will process it even more quicker than usual! Likewise, if there is a query with your order, we will contact you by phone or by e mail. |
